GitLab

• DGA: the GitLab issue tracker might not be powerful enough compared to JIRA, Trac, Mantis. Only open/close state, no workflow such as todo, in progress, done, additional fields.
• DGA: we might favour XWiki over the default GitLab wiki, at least for big projects
• DGA mentions the existence of an XWiki JIRA plugin, the same approach could be used for integrating further XWiki with GitLab
• DGA mentions the gitflow approach - it is implemented by Atlassian Sourcetree
• GitLab has an article about the Git flow approach and the GitLab flow

Actions:

• Check with the project managers their needs in terms of issue tracking
• Explore further the GitLab issue tracker capabilities / documentation
• MHA will install a GitLab instance for testing purpose, integrated to the OW2 LDAP, on an Ikoula server or the OW2 OpenStack

Contest

• SLA: during an OW2 management office meeting, we discussed the idea of turning the Contest into a jump start program of sponsored internships payed both by OW2 and OW2 corporate members. SLA will draft a proposal that we will discuss before sharing it with the TC to get the the TC feedback and advise.

Accessibility Initiative

• DGA will consider discussing with Cedric and Gabriele if / how to involve the TC into this initiative before its announcement
