The entire meeting was devoted to discuss about download statistics.

MHA presented the state-of-the-art, based on OW2 Matomo instance.

DZE elicited KnowAge requirements: who, where, when

MHA showed Matomo dashboards with geolic.

All participants discussed about GDPR impact (need for anonymise IP, leaving just the first two numbers - localization less accurate).

MHA already aware about IP anonymisation.

DZE asked whether it's possible to embed within projects markeplace also the Matomo geographical reports.

MHA talked about the importance of investigating how to retrieve country/location info from Matomo APIs: first action point

MHA emphasized also the importance to clarify how to embed info within Xwiki (xwiki app): needs for some help on this.

DGA reported that Nicola Bertazzo (ENG) started to do some experiments during summer holidays.

All participants agreed with the two requirements proposed by MHA (project manager point of view and more general view - useful for MO)

DGA proposed to start simple (just the overall downloads for each project, and then a CSV file with detailed metrics)

MHA and AMO decided to check priorities with MO (between download statistics and all the other activities - research projects, etc)

Action plan summary

1. investigate Matomo API to retrieve country/location
2. Investigate XWiki app embedding (Java code)
