Introducing new OW2 CTO

Short introduction by Iyad and warm welcome by TC members: "Well, Iyad Alshabani , PhD in distributed computing and middleware from Lille university, worked as researcher, research engineer and investigator for more than 15 years, alot of R&D project Mnagament mainly in public funded projects. 4 years at Inria as research engineer and project manager, 3 years at ActiveEon (OW2 member ) as projects cooridnator and one year as direcotr of an innovation lab at MEritis and now OW2"

New Project Acceptance Process: status

Long discussion about how to proceed. Topics:

• give importance to vetoes, as blocking element in the acceptance process
• which are the criteria? Maybe community isn't a good criteria, because for young projects, OW2 can help in building the community (it is one of the added-value of being part of OW2).
